The Power of Your Question

AI Thought

AI is a blending machine poised to efficiently actualise an insurmountable, and partially stale, wealth of human creativity and knowledge — a valuable resource, not to be ignored in a society accelerating into non-human velocities.

The Information Economy is already passé and we are already in the Creators, Influencers and Discerners Economy (CIDE). We each access approximately the same pool of information and can leverage AI to bridge our progressively diversifying problems. We have more potential than any other generation, but in no other generation has social apathy and isolation been a more encultured experience.

As always, key questions and problems 'happen' into our thoughts. We put them into the machine and make do with the happy meal it produces. Deep down we know we can't do much better if we do it alone and the paths we walk move progressively further from those around us.

Many of our questions and problems carry the potential of major turns, divine purpose and value; so much so, that it may be hazardous for society to race past them. We cannot afford to mindlessly feed the big-corp cyber organism while robbing ourselves and our communities of these opportunities for truly moving forward stronger.

Are you willing to step into the solutions that you were called to co-pioneer? It already started with the whispers in your heart but it requires community to build something bigger than you.

To step into the solutions you carry it starts with connection. Take measurable steps towards connection and drop a comment here along your journey. We are all novices in our own destiny until we reach the final step.

Below is a wisdom invitation to ignite your journey into purpose through questions, through connections; one piece to meditate on each day between now and my next post.

6 DAYS OF MEDITATION

Listen to advice and accept instruction,
that you may gain wisdom in the future.
The way of a fool is right in his own eyes and by insolence comes nothing but strife,
but with those who take advice is wisdom, and the wise man listens to advice.

(Prov19&12&13)

... do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments,
for length of days and years of life
and peace they will add to you.
Keep hold of instruction; do not let go; guard her,
for she is your life.

(Prov3&4)

Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise.
Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.

(Prov13&27)

Oil and perfume make the heart glad, and the sweetness of a friend comes from his earnest counsel.
There is one whose rash words are like sword thrusts,
but the tongue of the wise brings healing.

(Prov27&12)

Without counsel plans fail and without guidance a people falls,
but with many advisers plans succeed
and in an abundance of counselors there is safety.

(Prov11&15)

Better was a poor and wise youth
than an old and foolish king who no longer knew how to take advice.

(Ecc4)

Asking God Questions

Asking Questions of God
16 DAYS OF MEDITATION

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge;
fools despise wisdom and instruction.

(Prov1)

For the Lord gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.

(Prov2)

That their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love,
to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God's mystery, which is Christ,
in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

(Col2)

It is the glory of God to conceal things,
but the glory of kings is to search things out.

(Prov25)

Wealth gained hastily will dwindle,
but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.

(Prov13)

If any of you lacks wisdom,
let him ask God,
who gives generously to all without reproach,
and it will be given him.

(James1)

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my eye upon you.

(Psa32)

You guide me with your counsel, and
afterward you will receive me to glory.

(Psa73)

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon his shoulder,
and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor...
And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him,
the Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and might,
the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.

(Isa9&11 re Jesus)

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name,
he will teach you all things
and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.
When the Spirit of truth comes,
he will guide you into all the truth,
for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak,
and he will declare to you the things that are to come.

(Jhn14&16 re the Holy Spirit, Father and Son)

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable
for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
that the man of God may be complete,
equipped for every good work.

(2Tim3 re scripture)

Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light to my path.
[It] is living and active,
sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow,
and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

(Psa119&Heb4 re all of God's Word)

[Blessed is the man whose] delight is in the law of the Lord,
and on his law he meditates day and night.
He is like a tree planted by streams of water
that yields its fruit in its season,
and its leaf does not wither.
In all that he does, he prospers.

(Psa1 re the law governing God's Kingdom)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths.
Many are the plans in the mind of a man,
but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.
The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of his heart to all generations.

(Prov3&19&Psa33)

See to it that no one takes you captive
by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition,
according to the elemental spirits of the world,
and not according to Christ.
Whoever trusts in his own mind is a fool,
but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered.

For the foolishness of God is wiser than men,
and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
Be not wise in your own eyes;
fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.
When pride comes, then comes disgrace,
but with the humble is wisdom.

(Col2&Prov28&1Cor1&Prov3&Prov11)

Look carefully then how you walk,
not as unwise but as wise,
making the best use of the time...

  1. Thanks for the thought provoking post. I love the scripture references too!

Do you think that every people group moves from one economic era to another simultaneously?
And if so, which factors dictate these global shifts?

    1. A great question as my post does imply that it is a global and simultaneous phenomenon.

One of the strongest driving forces at present that cannot be over-stated is AI. Essentially access to and awareness of (which is part of access) AI are the key components to this shift. With Starlink, accessibility to mobile devices, and such a buzz around AI, most of the literate world has stepped into this.

That said, this does not necessarily mean that it affects everyone equally. To truly create requires a minimum capital, albeit collective capital, and many people in this world are trying their best just to have enough food in the week (although far less as a percentage than there ever was). Others might have functional access and might have enough capital to get things started but they either don’t know that it’s possible or they are wrapped in a survival/poverty mentality. For these people it is still possible but only the truly exceptional early adopter leaders and hope warriors will ever attempt stepping into this new era. But for those this does provide a way out through access to a greater economy, so they are still part of the economy.
